Ceremonies
Exchanging vows in the presence of family and friends is both a solemn as well as a joyful and momentous occasion. The setting as well as the details of the Ceremony deserve the closest attention. Couples choosing to celebrate their Wedding Ceremony or Civil Partnership as well as their Reception at South Farm receive every support we can offer you and the Registrars to make it perfect. With no less than four distinctly different licensed areas to choose from your wishes can be fulfilled.
The Summer House
First choice for many is the Summer House, an exquisite seven sided oak framed structure that seems to hover over the lily pond, framed by the garden behind. Guests are seated on the sloping lawns across the water. Skilful lighting and state of the art acoustics complete an idyllic open air scene. Spring a surprise and arrive from the Bridal Suite in our very own Thailand Tuk tuk. Capacity 180
The Tudor Barn
Grand by any standards, lovingly restored, framed in honey coloured ancient elm, it makes a splendid setting and provides a great entrance. Capacity 180
The Old Dairy
This sunlit room gazes both onto the courtyard and out over the sunset terrace and the meadows beyond. The adjoining Granary is both the point of entry and the very last touches before facing the aisle. Capacity 100
The Drawing Room
A sumptuous room, beautifully decorated in classic country house style, it’s a truly beautiful setting for an intimate smaller wedding. French windows lead out onto the garden terrace.
